Certified Pension Consultant
Amy Kennerly brings over 25 years of pension experience to her role as a Certified Pension Consultant with our firm. She has worked with plan sponsors in all aspects of annual administration, including plan design, operation and compliance for qualified retirement plans. She has assisted plan sponsors with recordkeeper conversions, participant enrollments, and the navigation of mergers or acquisitions.
Amy’s background includes leading compliance and consulting teams, and working extensively with auditors from the Department of Labor, Internal Revenue Service and private accounting firms. She is recognized as a skilled communicator, providing the best guidance and support for her clients.
Amy is a Certified Pension Consultant, a Qualified Pension Administrator, and a Qualified 401(k) Administrator with the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). She is an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and is a past committee member of the ASPPA Government Affairs Committee.
Amy earned her B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Campbell University in North Carolina.
